Back to topThe MML envisions arriving at its centenary year – 2033 – in a redeveloped, accessible building with a drop-in reception and exhibition space and a wide-reaching outreach and education programme engaging broad audiences in Marxism and the socialist history embodied in its collections, supported by robust governance, commercial, fundraising, digital and communication strategies.
To make this vision a reality, MML’s trustees have made the decision to temporarily limit some of our activities for a brief four-month period from 1 January to 30 April 2025. This will enable our small staff team to focus on two significant pieces of work at this critical time: an application for archive accreditation and a major application to the National Lottery Heritage Fund for our building redevelopment project.
This means
• Our tours will run as normal on Mondays and Thursdays
• Our reading room will be open to researchers by appointment on Tuesdays 11am-4pm
• There will be a shift with more of our programme running online, rather than onsite
