VOLUNTEERING

The Marx Memorial Library encourages volunteers to play an active role in the life of the Library, working with full time staff and the public.

Are you able to offer a day or two a week? Do you want to help with the day-to-day running of the Library? Do you have any specialist library, archive or administrative skills? Do you want to gain experience working in a library?

Work that volunteers can assist with include:

    Running guided tours
    Membership & admin tasks
    Assisting with basic archive & library jobs
    Digitising our archives
    Preparing for events and meetings

MML recruits volunteers three times a year in May; September and January.
